Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

TAKE A STAND TODAY

Catching an Old Navy sale this weekend?  You might want to think twice.  The American Family Association is reporting that Old Navy is celebrating June as the “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month” by selling gay pride T-shirts.  Old Navy will then donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the sales to a gay advocacy campaign called “It Gets Better Project.”

A white or black T-shirt with the words “Love Proudly” is being sold in select stores around the U.S. with Old Navy Corporation stating that they may expand the number of stores selling them next year.  Old Navy, with its customer base of moms and families shopping for less expensive back to school clothes, seems like an odd place to promote gay pride apparel.  Seems Old Navy must really have a deep-seated commitment to homosexual behavior and advocacy.

The question remains:  “If retailers decide to engage in the culture wars – rather than stick to selling products – should they be held accountable?”  For us, the answer is “yes, absolutely.”  No more cheap t-shirts and flip flops for us.  It is always surprising to us that any retailer or corporation would run the risk of alienating a large share of the 97 percent of the world’s population that is not gay by actively supporting homosexual advocacy and causes.

But you’ll have to decide for yourself whether or not you want to give Old Navy your shopping dollars.

If you want to contact “Gap, Inc.” the parent company for Old Navy, you can find contact information below.  Let them know what you think.  For those of you who do voice your opinion with the way you spend your dollars, here are a few other retailers and corporations that openly and actively support homosexual behavior and lifestyle.
