For all of the people in the U.S. who have anxiously been awaiting SCOTUS’s ruling on marriage, tomorrow is the day. The Supreme Court will issue opinions on the three remaining cases of the spring session. After announcing today’s rulings, Chief Justice John Roberts said Wednesday at 10 a.m. (EDT) would be the last day opinions will be released before the court adjourns for the summer.
The Court has yet to rule on three cases — Perry (California’s Prop 8), Windsor (the federal Defense of Marriage Act), and Sekhar v. U.S., a case involving the admissibility of legal advice from an attorney.
These rulings have been highly anticipated, for they will determine the direction of our country and our culture.
