So does that mean if you are against abortion (pro-life) that you must be “less educated “ or dare I say “less smart?” There are studies out there that claim that atheists and people who identify as “liberal” have higher IQ’s and thus go on to college, are more “educated” and successful in higher education pursuits .
It rings true that people who go on to greater educational attainment might have higher IQs, but we wonder if abortion has its greatest support among the more educated not because of higher IQ, but because of what they’re being taught during those years in academic settings. If UFI’s blog post “Ivy League Ethics?” and the writer’s account of what occurred at Harvard is any indication, it’s education alright, education of the wrong kind.
But the Gallup Poll had some great news that we wanted to share. It clearly reveals the trend that we’ve been highlighting for a number of years: support for abortion continues to decline. Take a look at the results. Gallup shows a trend line that we’ll celebrate and recommit to our efforts to return the culture to one that values the lives of the unborn. Thankfully, it seems time is on their side.
