Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

TAKE A STAND TODAY

Men and women from around the world are visiting Quito, Ecuador this week for a United Nations conference called ‘Habitat III’ which brings global groups together to create plans for future urban development.  The document being prepared will ultimately guide planning in sustainable development throughout the entire world for the next 20 years.

United Families International takes a determined interest in this conference as it seeks the inclusion of words like mother, father, family, children, and religion in the text of the document that will be drafted during the conference.  But more than that, those principles need to be an active part of the solutions, providing a stable bedrock for children of the future.

Many other groups will have representatives there to likewise “encourage U.N. delegates and dignitaries to create laws and verbiage that strengthens the family”.  I am proud to be associated with these men and women who are standing up for one of the strongest, most important groups on the entire earth: the family, and who work to promote the family as an important contributing entity in addressing the United Nations’ goals for sustainable development.  Loving families consisting of a mother and a father and their children are key to solving global problems.

I applaud the efforts of these groups and encourage you share in their work.  As Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
