Protect against Title IX and submit a comment by September 12, 2022.

The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

TAKE A STAND TODAY

California State Legislature is at it again. This time, they are considering taking the right of parents to make decisions for their children and giving it fully to the state.

Introduced on the Senate floor on Dec 5th, SB 18 would, “establish a comprehensive framework that governs the rights of all children and youth in California, outlines the research-based essential needs of California’s children, and establishes standards relating to the health, safety, well-being, early childhood and educational opportunities, and familial supports necessary for all children to succeed.”

California already has laws and services to protect abused and neglected children. SB 18 expands the program to every child under the age of 18 residing in the state.

The bill says it would establish “standards relating to the health, safety, well-being, early childhood and educational opportunities, and familial supports.” These standards of course would be set and enforced by state employees.

If this bill becomes law, then employees of the state will make rules with which parents must comply for the state to agree that they are fit parents. The standards will mandate healthcare and education choices. They will determine what’s necessary for a child’s “healthy attachments with adults,” and “social and emotional well-being”. The state will define what a healthy environment for children means.

Many in California are calling the bill the ‘most destructive’ family based bill to ever hit the floor.

One can only guess what much of the language in the bill means. The likely purpose is to regulate religious teachings, mandate vaccinations according to a strict cdc schedule, outlaw homeschool, regulate private schools to function more like public schools, make guns illegal in homes of minors, mandate after school activities, and mandate pre-school. It may even mandate how many siblings can share a bedroom. It could even force gender reassignment and psychotropic drugs on minors.

Everything in this bill would destroy the sanctity of the home and the family. This bill should concern every parent in the United States because what starts in California never ends in California. The government will never care for children as well as parents. The government and government employees do not care about children in the same way a parent does. Children need their parents to protect them from laws like these.
