The state of Idaho has accomplished something very important – the legislature has passed House Bill 500 the “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act.” The bill now sits on the Governor of Idaho’s desk – and he is getting lots of pressure and misinformation from LGBT lobby groups and needs to be encouraged to sign this bill.
“Pretending that girls and boys are physically identical is naïve, and an influx of hormones doesn’t change the facts. I want to make sure the girls in this state don’t lose their roster spot to a young man who already has a spot on the boys’ team,” states the Barb Ehardt – the bill’s sponsor.
If you believe girls and women deserve to have their opportunities and safety protected, then please contact the governor.
Call Governor Little’s office at 208-334-2100 and politely ask him to sign HB 500. Or, email him at: governor@gov.idaho.gov (Be sure to put: “Please sign HB 500” in the subject line.)
Better yet, do both!
Contact the governor even if you don’t live in Idaho!
This bill is the first of its kind; please push it over the finish line. The passage of this bill could help pave the way for your state to pass a similar bill, thereby protecting your daughter and her opportunities in sports.
The Governor Little of Idaho could make his decision on this bill at any moment. Please don’t delay!
Thank you for being part of history.
