“Choice on Earth” wallpaper adorns the home page of Planned Parenthood’s website. Some Planned Parenthood (PP) clinics still offer the “Choice on Earth” holiday cards as well as gift certificates good for, among other things, abortion services. That must be somewhere on an “ultimate stocking stuffer” list.
Cecile Richards, PP President, has sent out her annual “Christmas” email to her supporters bragging about Planned Parenthood’s role in the passage of the largest increase in taxpayer-funded abortion since Roe v. Wade (1973) and urging her readers to donate so even more can be done. The most prolific abortion provider in the world really knows how to enhance and celebrate the Christmas season!
At a time of year when the world celebrates the birth of a child, Planned Parenthood is celebrating the ending of the lives of 1.37 million unborn children in the U.S. (42 million worldwide) and continues to make a mockery of the scriptural passage that rejoices in the birth of a baby boy some 2000 years ago.
Cecile Richards defends her organization’s activities and insists that the bulk of the services provided by Planned Parenthood are for basic healthcare and “family planning.” Yet the numbers from International Planned Parenthood Federation show that annually Planned Parenthood performs:
363,089 Surgical abortions
90,035 Medical abortions (pills)
453,124 Total abortions
Planned Parenthood charges, on average, $450 for a surgical abortion. That means that in one year, International Planned Parenthood brought in $163,390,050 on surgical abortions alone. Keep in mind that Planned Parenthood receives millions of tax-payer dollars each year in the form of grants and subsidies…that’ll cover a lot of basic overhead for Planned Parenthood clinics!
Returning to the “Choice on earth” and Planned Parenthood’s mockery of the “Peace on Earth” Christmas message, we’ll close with this:
The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between. –Mother Teresa
