Marriage and the Public Good: Ten Principles
(PUBGOOD)

This is a report issued by an impressive group of U.S. experts and scholars in the fields of History, Economics, Psychiatry, Law, Sociology and Philosophy that should be “must reading” for policy makers around the world and particularly in the U.S as well as for anyone concerned about defending marriage and the family. There is a strong consensus among these scholars that the “public goods” flowing from marriage are not being adequately recognized and appreciated by the public, policy makers and most of the media. They issued this report with the hope that it would “make a substantial new contribution to the public debate over marriage.”
