| International Voice For Youth (IVY) combines local “service-learning” programs, humanitarian service, and education on issues such as poverty, education, and AIDS. Our mission is to empower youth and their communities to put their hands to work at a local level, while learning about the needs and values of others across the world – “thinking globally; acting locally.” Personal connections and sacrifices promotes empathy and a desire to work towards real solutions to the tough problems faced by today’s youth.
Our service-learning projects are chosen to coordinate with the international community’s focus on the issues at the UN conferences. An on-going theme is “children helping children, youth helping youth.”
