| | | | ServeStay Alive - Stay Alive Program was created to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic ravaging Africa and growing in virulence in many parts of the world. Stay Alive targets children ages 9-14 and empowers them to make smart choices before they become sexually active. Children learn about HIV/AIDS, what it is, how it is transmitted and how they can protect themselves from contracting it by being abstinent before marriage and faithful in marriage. Stay Alive empowers youth with the knowledge which literally, can save their lives.
IVY - International Voice For Youth (IVY) combines local “service-learning” programs, humanitarian service, and education on issues such as poverty, education, and AIDS. Our mission is to empower youth and their communities to put their hands to work at a local level, while learning about the needs and values of others across the world – “thinking globally; acting locally.” Personal connections and sacrifices promotes empathy and a desire to work towards real solutions to the though problems faced by today’s youth. Our service-learning projects are chosen to coordinate with the international community’s focus on the issues at the UN conferences. An on-going theme is “children helping children, youth helping youth.”
