Simple lines of black and white and right and wrong have been blurred. The old institutions are not what they used to be and the new organizations are, many times, also suspect.

I am well aware that there have been what is known as ‘shake downs’ in the U.S.  in which a representative from one organization will ‘blackmail’ another organization/corporation with racist accusations, or some other concocted politically incorrect philosophy to extort money or favors from said organization (corporation). Having said that, there are still organizations which ‘volunteer’ to make contributions to PLANNED PARENTHOOD and ACORN-type organizations.

Planned Parenthood is famous for two tenets today: abortion and counseling teenage girls on ‘rough sex.’ Acorn is a left-wing group that was influential in launching Obama –the most pro-abortion president in our nation’s history – into his political career.

The following groups/organizations are some on the list of those who contribute directly or indirectly to Planned Parenthood and Acorn: Susan G. Komen – (who represents the fight against breast cancer with pink ribbons), United Way, Girl Scouts (their cookies), CCHD (Catholic Campaign for Human Development), the American Cancer Society, YMCA, UNICEF, and Thrivent Financial (Lutheran) all give to Planned Parenthood and Acorn directly or indirectly.

Unfortunately, we often don’t have much control over where our tax monies go.  Charitable giving, however, we do control and it requires knowledge. Here are some websites that will help us in this awareness.

Charitynavigator.org (rates on accountability, transparency, and efficiency – not ideology)

Charitywatch.org   American Institute of Philanthropy Charity Rating Guide – rates mostly on financial responsibility

Discoverthenetworks.org (A Guide to the Political Left)
