The US Department of Education released their proposed changes to Title IX regulations that would dramatically change the future for women and girls in federally funded activities and programs. There are many negative impacts that will harm girls, women, and families.

A government portal has been set up for you to make a comment submission.  It is very straight-forward and easy to do.  In addition, this governmental body is required to read every submission, large and small – before they can finalize the new “Rule.”  So rest assured, your input will be read and considered.

Planned Parenthood Myths Busted!

The truth about Planned Parenthood came out as Cecil Richards testified in front of Congress. She had to admit certain myths circulating, some for years, are false.

 

  1. Myth 1: Abortion is only 3% of the business Planned Parenthood does. Cecil Richardson admitted that abortion is actually 86% of their business.
  2. Myth 2: Mammograms are a part of the necessary services Planned Parenthood provides. Cecil Richardson admitted that none of the 600+ clinics conduct mammograms.
  3. Myth 3: Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization and needs tax payer funding to provide necessary services for women. Cecil Richards confirmed that Planned Parenthood brought in over $127 million in “excess revenue”. Excess revenue can be defined as profit. Planned Parenthood actually gains over $100 million a year in profit making it a multi-million dollar industry.
  4. Myth 4: The Undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s illegal practice of selling aborted baby parts for profit were doctored or overly edited.  Forensic analysis determined that the undercover Planned Parenthood videos were not manipulated or deceptively edited at all. The forensics team testified and gave evidence of this in front of Congress. Planned Parenthood also hired a company to investigate the videos which came up with the same conclusion stating that there was no “widespread evidence of substantive video manipulation.”

Planned Parenthood kills 300,000 unborn babies a year. They go into schools to show children how to have sex and call it sexual education. They sell the bodies of the babies they abort for profit. Only 14% of Planned Parenthood’s business goes to providing contraception and STD testing. Planned Parenthood is registered as a non-profit business yet makes over $100 million each year. Planned Parenthood is not a necessary service and should not be funded by tax payers.
